Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

Our group buy purchase order feature is designed to streamline your inventory management process, and allows you to effortlessly manage purchases for multiple locations in one go. This feature can be leveraged during the Planning process, when using the PO Builder from the Purchase Targets tab.

Leveraging Group Buys

  1. Review Purchase Targets

    • In the Purchase Targets section, you'll see each of the purchase orders you can work on, with each PO associated with one purchase location and one supplier.

    • Select all of the POs you want to work on, and click on PO Builder to initiate the building process.

  2. Customize Purchasing Locations

    • After determining quantity to order by line, once you navigate to the Purchase & Transfer Orders section (Step 2 in the PO Builder) you will see a “Group Buy” toggle that allows you to group locations for a supplier.

    • Toggling the Group Buy option on will allow you to combine purchases from various locations into one purchasing group. You can now set group purchasing locations, with the flexibility to easily set the purchase location to be a different location - all while having clear visibility into all requirement locations.
