Item Flagging

The Item Flagging feature allows you to flag items for review when you encounter a recommendation or suggestion that requires further attention. Flagged items are temporarily excluded from planning until they are reviewed and resolved. Follow the steps below to flag or resolve an item.


How to Flag an Item

  1. Open the Item Side Panel

    • Navigate to the item you want to flag and click to open its side panel.

  2. Click the Flag Button

    • At the top of the side panel, you’ll see a Flag button. Click it to start the flagging process.

  3. Add a Comment

    • A text box will appear. Enter a reason for flagging the item. Be specific so the issue can be reviewed effectively.

  4. Confirm the Flag

    • Click Flag to finalize the action. The item’s status will change to "Flagged," and it will be excluded from planning until resolved.


How to Resolve a Flagged Item

  1. Open the Item Side Panel

    • Locate the flagged item and click to open its side panel.

  2. Click Resolve Flag

    • At the top of the panel, click the Resolve Flag button.

  3. Add a Comment

    • Provide a comment explaining the resolution. This step is mandatory to ensure proper documentation.

  4. Finalize the Resolution

    • Once the comment is added, the item will return to the planning workflow with its flagged status removed.

    • The item will return to the status it was in prior to being flagged.

Bulk Resolve Multiple Flagged Items

  1. Select Flagged Status Filter

    • Locate the Flagged Status in the Status filter dropdown.

  2. Select Items to be Resolved

    • Bulk select items to be resolved.

  3. Click Bulk Actions > Resolve Flag

    • Add a note to resolve all items with, click Resolve Flag button.

What happens to flagged items?

Flagged items are excluded from planning until their flags are resolved, whether from an internal review or after discussion with the Recurrency team. This ensures they don’t impact workflows while under review.

Can I filter for flagged items?

Yes, you can filter your view to show only flagged items, making it easy to track and manage them.

Why do I need to add a comment when flagging or resolving an item?

Comments provide context and ensure clear communication about why an item was flagged or how it was resolved.
