How to Set a Supplier Minimum Target

You can define a Supplier Minimum target alongside your existing supplier targets. This feature helps ensure that your purchases meet supplier requirements by warning you if an order falls below the minimum acceptable threshold.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to set a supplier minimum target:

  1. Navigate to Purchase Targets:

    • Log in to your account and go to the Purchase Targets section.

  2. Edit the Target:

    • Find the supplier for which you wish to set a minimum.

    • Click on the Edit Target option to modify the supplier’s settings.

  3. Set the Supplier Minimum:

    • Locate the new Supplier Minimum section in the editing interface.

    • Enter the minimum order quantity (dollars, weight, units, or volume) as required.

    • Save your changes.

Warning Alerts: Stay Informed

Once you have set a supplier minimum target, the system will help ensure your orders meet the supplier's requirements:

  • Real-Time Warning:

    • If you create or modify an order that falls below the defined supplier minimum target, you will receive a warning.

  • Actionable Notification:

    • This alert provides you with the opportunity to adjust your order before finalizing the purchase, reducing the risk of order rejection by the supplier.

By keeping you informed through timely warnings, this feature streamlines your purchasing process and ensures that your orders comply with supplier expectations.
