What is the Sync Status page?
The Sync Status page is a tool designed for Admins to monitor and resolve data issues between Recurrency and your ERP system.
At times, min/max values or replenishment methods can become out of sync due to:
Work done directly in your ERP while it was offline.
Errors from within your ERP due to settings or data contrasting with what is exported from Recurrency.
Rare instances of export failures from Recurrency.
The Sync Status page gives you visibility and control over these mismatches so you can take corrective action.
Why would values get out of sync?
In most cases, Recurrency and your ERP maintain the same values. However, occasional export failures (e.g., due to ERP connectivity issues) can leave Recurrency and ERP misaligned.
To address this gap, we’re introducing the Sync Status page. It gives you a clear, actionable view of data mismatches between Recurrency and your ERP—making it easier to diagnose problems and bring your systems back into alignment.
How will I know if there are out-of-sync items?
If Recurrency detects items out of sync with your ERP:
You’ll see an alert in the Alerts section of the Inventory Mission Control Dashboard.
Clicking the alert will take you directly to the Sync Status page, where you can review and resolve any mismatches.
This ensures you don’t have to hunt for issues—they’re surfaced proactively.
What actions can I take on the Sync Status page?
See mismatched data: View a list of out-of-sync items, including both Recurrency and ERP values for comparison.
Push or Pull values:
Push Recurrency values to update your ERP.
Pull ERP values to update Recurrency.
This keeps data consistent across systems and prevents issues in modules like Purchasing, Planning, and Inventory.
Important considerations
In all other modules, Recurrency assumes ERP values are correct.
If an export failed due to an issue on the ERP side, retrying from Sync Status will likely hit the same error until the ERP issue is resolved. Please contact Recurrency Support ([email protected]) or your CSM if you need help understanding why failures are occurring.
